Bridge Ratings Industry Survey: LA Morning Radio without Stern Updated

Ouch!

In Bridge Ratings' first release of audience measurement of the Los Angeles market since Howard Stern's departure from KLSX-FM, the station's morning radio audience among the 25-54 year old listeners was deteriorating quickly. (See story)

Just-released data from the month of February indicates that not only was the initial audience movement significant, but significant attrition continues. In this report, however, Bridge Ratings analyzed audience listening in both New York City and Los Angeles to determine how both stations (WFNY-FM and KLSX-FM) were performing with their respective new morning shows (David Lee Roth in New York; Adam Corolla in LA). The composite favoriteness shares of both stations continues to trend down suggesting that there may have been positive trial during January which did not bear fruit in February.
